    A/C compressor pulley wobbles

I was poking around the engine bay the other day looking for an antifreeze leak, and noticed that there were small little shreds of black rubber near the belt area. Upon close inspection, I saw that the alternator/A/C belt was starting to wear abnormally on the side closest to the engine. I watched it run for a minute or two and I saw the pulley actually wobbling .5mm. So:

    Bad Bearing?

    Bent pulley?

    Impossible to repair/replace?

Anyone had this happen before? A coworker of mine had the same problem on his 96 Accord and he spent several hundred dollars at the dealership towards this repair.

Advice, hints, tricks, tips, or anything would be appreciated. Thanks!
