After my mild wire tuck, the engine sometimes revs up to 3000 by itself. It slowly creeps up there. If I blip the throttle, it comes back down. What could cause this? Thanks.

vac leak or faulty IAC and FICV due to changing routing of hoses is possible.

I didn't touch much in the way of vacuum lines. I was saving that for last. The only thing I disconnected was the airbox resonator (both vacuum and electrical connections) and plugged the nipple at the intake.
It doesn't always do what I explained, just occasionally.Comment
