You shouldn't have changed any of the alternator wiring when you did your swap...

Which blue/wires are you referring to?

i didnt chage any wires, i kept the stock harness, and i ran into this problem and everything happens to lead to that one wire, theres like 4 wires with the thick one over the motor and one happens to be a white/blue wire that goes to the charge light that goes back to the ecu...... the charge light stays on at all times, while car is sitting there. unless i take the hazard fuse off????? this is weird???????

Somethin's plugged in wrong. Or wired wrong. Recheck all your wiring and all your connections. If you didn't change anything theres not much it could be.

hey guys, found the problem guys, brought it to my school, and had some teachers give me a hand with it......behind the radio on the harness that goes to the ecu, 4 wires out of 20 wires were spliced open and stuck together which caused a short to power on the ground side, so we took the harness off and soddered the wires back together then sealed the wires with shrink tubing, then bought a new alternator and threw it in and it runs fine, just need some help, got a p28 for it so my h22 could run better cuss got robbed for my p13 and i think my wecu is running on limp mode, but idk y, runs fine wen the car is barely warmed up, but as soon as its fullly warmed up, i only get second gear, fourth gear, and reverse. so i think itsa running on limp mode but aint sure?? any one know what i can do for this???and oyea, its an automatic???thanxx
