Left headlight not working

Just put a new bulb in...checked all the fuses. Still does not work. The brights work that is it. Any ideas? There is some fucked up looking wiring around there thats for sure, and the peice the light plugs into looks pretty sketch. I can get a pic if needed.

The light plug could be melted or the wiring could have something to do with it take a look and dee if there is some kind of relay that is acting like a power aid. Meaning that who ever had the car before might have ghetto riged it to work that way.
