Is it possiable to change the whole ignition to another unit any help would be great.

Why do you want to change the ignition?

Honda OEM ignition is more than enough just as long as every part is in good shape.

Just go to any dealership, bring your registration and your driver's license and they should be able to make you a set of keys, including the vallet key by using your VIN number. This is much easier than changing your ignition switch. Also even if you change your ignition switch, the new keys that comes with it does not match your door and trunk locks...

It's a spare key that you have just in case, or if you go to a fancy resturant or club you give them that key,the purpose it serves is to only work in the ignition and will not work for the trunk and rear seat.
