WTH! this is what I did today....
I replaced the cup holders with a nicer set... I had to remove the center console to do this. When I replaced everything I couldn't get the car to shift so I zip tied the plastic arms going to the shift lock soliniod together...
Car runs good and now I can shift with no problems but the windows don't roll up, and the speedo/tachnometer is not working...
Another issue I have is the reverse lights don't work (ongoing issue), and I had an ABS light on (now the ABS light is off, I supposed it is also connected to the dash gauges)
I need help ASAP... meanwhile I will pull off the center console again and see disconnect the soliniod completly...
BTW- ALL the fuses are good, I will start checking relays but don't have a multimeter... maybe use a 9 volt and my tester???
