Ignition prob.

Ok Iv searched and searched and I still can’t get my answer so....Ok I started the cb up and was going into town and I made it less than a mile from my house and she just shut off deader than a door nail. My battery is fine, the motor is getting fuel but no spark. Checked out the dizzy looks fine nothing broken or lose. The car dose crank over just no start. When I crank the motor w/ the dizzy cap off the black thingy spins. I tested with the volt gauge and I’m not getting any power to any of the spark plug wires or the 5th spark plug wire (the one that goes INTO the dizzy NOT out to the spark plugs). So what would be my next step? I also tried switching out the silver box on the driver side that didn’t do anything either

yes it is a 93. but Im stumped on how the spark plug wire going INTO the dizzy(not the spark plug wires that actually go the spark plugs) isnt getting power. But you guys know more than me so I take your word. How hard is it to replace the coil? can someone post a link or anything for me? Thanx!

93's are external coil its the little black thing behind your distributer that has a wire from the dizzy going in it unplug it take the 2 bolts out then replace it and hopefully your problem is fixed

Ok now I have another dizzy that Im guessing is a internal coil b/c it dosent have that black box or a 5th spark plug wire coming into the dizzy. Now can that dizzy be used? If so how hard of a mod is it to swap over. I just dont have the money to spend on a coil if I have a good working dizzy w/ a coil that I can use.

coils are about 65 dollars i had to change mine about 3 weeks ago

ok well its not the coil just replaced it and cused a blue streak after buying and istalling it the mother fucker still dosent work. Im soo frustrated with this cb Im ready to run this fucker into a tree ohh wait the pos dosent run!!
Some one PLZ help me be for I blow this fucking car up
