EGR cleaned,now,Engine Flush,yes or no?

Finally got my EGR ports cleaned,though only 4 our of 6,still good enough as I can feel,really happy about the result.

Guys,I have never done an engine flush before,I heard good and bad things about a flush,I will get a cleaner engine but what about seals? Or there are some safe ways to perform a flush or some good brands?Thanx!

well any auto parts store is going to have many differant brands of engine flush, and they all basically do the same thing. an engine flush is not a bad idea, basically all you gotta do is go to your local automotive store, ask them to show you there engine flush's, and buy one, if you read whats in them you will find they all have the same "ingrediants", so just buy one, im not sure of the brands you have up there but we have many kinds down here, and after you buy it, read all directions very carefully as they show you step by step what to do, and again its not a bad idea especially on a high mileage motor. good luck Ryan.

be very careful w/ this stuff.read the instructions.do not drive the car or rev it. the flush is basicly breakes down the oil to release it from the motor internals. this coudle be a bad thing if you don't know the COMPLETE history of the car. what you break free may loose up something thats holding it together. how ever i sued it on my f22b w/ no problems,and the motor was suprisingly clean.

I wouldnt reccomend any of that hardcore compression restore stuff, but yeah, do an oil system flush, clean those valves up really nice for just a couple of bucks.
