follow this guide and pull both motors: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthre...&threadid=8849 the guide covers pulling a manual motor, so do your dead one first to get a feel for whats going on, then you will need to improvise a bit when pulling the automatic one.

when they are both out, set them side by side and anything different between them (related to being automatic or 5spd), swap onto the new f22a6... things i can think of off the top of my head to swap from ur dead motor to the new one: flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, tranny, wiring harness... also recommended: install a new water pump and timing belt (refer to the manual)

refer to a Chilton's manual for pulling off the transmissions and whatnot, it explains pretty well. if you follow it correctly you wont have a problem bolting the old transmission onto the new motor then follow that guide in reverse to put the motor back in.

its easier than you think, youll just need to put the time and effort into it, and you need to actually take the time to look things up online and in the manual.

good luck with it, we have tons of info and will be here to help you at any point of your swap
