Hey guys, and gals....i rescently got my accord on the road like a month ago..after the issues i had with the harness for my h22, and like a week ago it started misfiring....very lightly so i gave it a tune up....oil, oil filter, sparkplugs and pcv valve and it started to run fine. For that day...then the next day i went to a meet(hopkinton park) with a bunch of 6th gen accords and it started smoking so i took out the spark plugsand noticed that sparkplug # 1 was pitch blakc...but very dry..so dat kinda scared me....so when we left.. I drove it home..slow.... got it home and put it in my garage and just stared at it... lol.. I was madd....so the next day i compression tested it and got 10psi cyl#1,#2 got 205psi,# 3 got 215psi and #4 got 215psi and their all out of spec...but that #1 cyl is scaring me....im just wondering what could cause it to do that..wondering if a clogged injector can cause that cus i think i had a bad injector? Any help appreciated...need the car asap...thanx

Piston Ring probably.
The spark plug is having a black carbon deposit from either:
- Wrong ignition timing
- Running rich
- Leaking InjectorLast edited by PIMPCORD; 07-26-2009, 08:05 PM.Feeding trolls is my profession and hobby.

Yea.. When i got the swap done.they toldme i had a bad injector and i forgot but i though that was happening because i had a clogged injector... and i wus a lil sceptical about the 10psi and idk why it was like that.....and i was hoping it was nothing big...but im still not 100% sure what it is...Originally posted by PIMPCORD View PostPiston Ring probably.
