    Need help quick!!!

I need my car for work, and it's not starting so i have to call in today and my boss is gonna bitch at me.

    Anyways heres the problem.

Everything seemed fine, i drove alot yesterday, I go to start it this morning and i hear this click sound, and then nothing. The car makes no sound when i turn the key now, the dome light wont even turn on, headlights wont turn on, nothing, powerlocks dont work. So i open the fuse box under the hood, take out the dome light fuse and put it back in, it's not blown. After i put it pack in, everything works fine, headlights, locks, domelight. Then i go to start the car, and i get this brief click sounding thing. and then the same prob, no power, no nothing.

Need help quick please, i need to work.

its either a dead battery or a slow blown fuse, replace the fuse and if that dont work charge or replace the battery..

Could also be your chassis ground. The thick cable from your negative battery terminal to the frame. Turn your lights on, reach under there and wiggle it. If your lights flicker, that's a place to start.

Also, and more simply, check your battery terminals for loose connections. Same thing, wiggle, wiggle...

A dead battery would show similar behaviour. It could hold enough juice to light the lights, but when you try to turn it over, there's not enough to spin the starter. You just hear the starter solenoid trying to kick in.

Battery is then dead, if you give it a minute, it will have time to recharge a bit (but not enough), lights will light again when you go back.

Anyway, check your terminals, check your ground, get a jump, go to work.
