    Fuel Pump Check Valve

In the morning when my car has sat overnight, it takes a few starts to get it running. Do our cars have fuel pump check valves??? Or is there sumthing else I should check? I replaced the fuel pump regulator with a working one. Only have this problem when the car has sat for a extended time.

Yes they do. I just replaced my fuel pump yesterday, and not only was the check ball-valve not holding pressure but the rail pressure was about 35 PSI. The manual says it should be between 40-47 PSI. Other indicators of a weak pump are white burning plugs. (white means LEAN, so not enough fuel i.e. fuel pressure)
