jesus, we got a bunch of fat asses on here haha. I'm in at a svelt 145. 5'11, yeah I need to eat a big mac or two but when I do it never sticks so idk.
But yeah our cars are nowhere near 3800 lbs or whatever number you said. Even the new accords are like 3400. Only an Acura RL or something big weighs closer to that.

your local city dump. that's the best place. they'll weigh you on the way in, and on the way out. you can get with and without driver weight that way. and it's free =)
edit: well it's free so long as you aren't dumping a shit ton of trash in there hehe...get the without driver weight first!
What everyone needs to know is that the car will be different. All the curbb weights and so on listed on sites just gives you a general idea of where your car is supposed to be. What throws this measurement off is options. If you have quite a bit from the factory it pushes the amount provided as a base. Personally the best way is to go on a scale but your cb should never be over 4000 with anyone in there unless you have like a bunch of fat people in the car.
im sure he was looking at something that said what the maximum allowable weight of the car, including occupants, cargo, etc.
if you had 4 250lb men and a trunk full of beer to last the weekend, you'd be getting pretty close to 4000 pounds.

My LX with the H22A1 and manual transmission, full interior 3/4 tank of gas and 2 8" subs in the trunk weighed in at 2980lbs without me in it, so over 3200lbs at the starting line...
