Ok so I have heard the that the F22A tb will not fit the H series upper plenum. I was wondering if this is due to a different bolt pattern between the two or differenes in vacumn passages, etc.

F series has the oddball honda TB bolt pattern.
If you have an a6, get a h23 upper plenum and h23 TB and ur golden

i thought the bore of the hole is differnt?What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

Bore is different as well. I measured my A6 tb and it was 56mm. The H upper plenum is I thin 62-64mm not sure which one.Originally posted by accordztech View Post

The vacuum passages are different between the F22A1 and H22/H23 as well. I know because I compared the 2 gaskets when I put my bored TB on.
The guy at Honda gave me the wrong TB gasket. When I asked for the Prelude one he gave me the Accord one and it made my idle fluctuate from 800 to 1500. Ended up going to the Acura dealership and getting the Prelude one because the Honda dealership said "We are out sorry, try the Acura dealership up the street."
Go figure.

Thats becuase the H tb has the iatv or what ever it is on the bottom as the F series has it on the upper intake.
