white smoke still coming from muffler

i just replaced my head gasket and all the other gaskets on the head and had the head re-done.but every time im coming from a stop white smoke just comes out.it only does it a few times but it only does it everytime i go from a stoplight or sign.but it also smells like gas

did you retighten the bolts after driving? cause the rubber expands and you gotta tighten it a little more

excessive fuel can cause white smoke (injector dumping too much fuel) but u would have other problems too. is it ALL the time or just in the morning like the smoke that blows out when it cold out but is just from condensation?

Depends on the gasket you used, I rebuilt a toyotas engine with metal head gaskets and it leaked thru...


We replaced it with a conventional headgasket and it stopped smoking....


So either coolant is being burned or you're running rich..... I would retorque the head bolts, as heat causes things to change shape or size, etc., so you may need to retorque.

it does it time to time the last time it did it was last week and today it doesnt do it all the time

Did you get the head resurfaced at all or possibly like somebody else mentioned that there might be a low spot on top of your block.
