    distributor dust/leak cover

    ok this cover that is between the distributor cap and the distributor broke. is it ok if i run without it?
    its called the leak cover or dust cover....

    I would be worried of interference, things spin inside there.

      4tru tru that is why i haven't started the car yet. probably gona push it out of the garage since it's only half in.....

      no one has it except the dealer for $4.

          What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

          You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

            hahahah yeah i know but that cap broke on me on a friday and i could get the new part till monday which is today. i really wanted to drive the car that friday.
            its funny i always wondered why my car sometimes i had power sometimes it was slugish. after opening the distributor cap i found out why. and that cover thing it just broke in my hands. probably that dis cap hasn't been changed in a long time.
