Im trying to find a short thats draining my battery. Noticed that when I connect the hot leg on the battery that the right turn signal blinks once so I thought lets start there. Ohm'd the marker lights and they're good. Did the turn signals and the meter never changed. Should that circuit show something when the car is off and the lights are off too? Do i have to turn it on and the signals to Ohm it out? Hate chasing down shorts unless they are nicely filled out with smooth legs.

this one is a tough one.
coming from the number 20 fuse is a white/green wire that leads into a hazard switch.
then it goes into a turn signal/hazard relay via green/wht wire.
the turn signal switch on a different circuit probably completes the R turn signal lights and is spliced via grn/red wire
green/yellow comes out of the back of the hazard switch and sends amps to the R turn signal lights which are all on a parallel setup. So other than a shorted wire, it may be a turn signal switch stuck, bad hazard switch or the turn signal relay.
