ABS on my CD5

i know this is cb7 but i feel like more people get on here then cd5tuner.com ... anyway.

My effn ABS shit is pissing me off. It keeps making a noise ... kinda like its turning on?? but it doesnt stop. it will do it until i start driving. my abs light is on ... my brakes work fine but the actual abs system under the hood is making noises.

i need to record the noise it makes and post it so yall can see what i mean.

just wondering if anyone on here knows if it would be ok to just take off the abs ... or do i have to make a trip to the junkyard to replace it .. cause i sure as hell dont have the money right now to replace it brand new ...

you need a new ABS Pump. it happened to my cd5. when you turn it on and it begins to make the noise and a few sec later the ABS would come and the pupm will just continue to make the noise and feel like a true Junk car lol....

you need to find out why the abs light is on. dont just throw parts at it.

I believe these will work for your cd, as stated in one of the posts, after 98 the codes change. Good luck!
