well i cleaned my egr yesterday cuz i had a cel #12 so i cleaned it and reset the ecu but it came back on? any way of testing the EGR? can it be vaccum?>

Could be that the six egr ports are clogged up. In that case, you need to pull the plugs and spray carb cleaner to clean it up.

also make sure the egr VALVE opens and closes.

i got a f22b2 do i do the same thing like the f22a4 to clean the ports?? mine looks like it gots a cover on top of the ports ?


how do i check to see if the egr opens and closes?

you can check it manually by putting your fingers under the egr disc and pull up.

id suggest checking it with a vacuum pump. does the car idle rough but fine at 1500+rpms?

it idles ok i just cleaned the other sensort the iacv and the tiacv
i lifted with my fingers and it does goes up
