    car is vibrating at idle

I got an automatic that vibrates like made at idle in drive.

I checked the common places especially the front motor mount and the rear motor mount and they are fine. I dont get it. I also thought the idle was to low so I raised it to just above 800 and it still does it.

Sometimes if i flick the high beams it goes away completly.

What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

    Retro!

When you checked your mounts, did you check it while it was in "D" or did you put the car in park (or turn it off) and then check?

I checked for cracks and it seemed solid in park

I doubt it, its not struggling at idle or anything. Wouldnt cause the car to shake like that.

I'd start off making sure your base idle is set properly. Assuming all is fine with idle, no vacuum leaks, etc.

Then, I would move onto making sure your charging system is operating properly.

Also consider if you're BS belt is improperly timed.
