    CD power steering pump

A bearing in mine is letting go, will one off of a CD work? I can see that it's smaller, but is it workable? I could swap any brackets/pulleys/probably even the high pressure line, even though i'd probably rather not do the last one.

nobody's tried this? I can go stare at the mount some more tomorrow, the only thing i'm not sure of is whether the fittings will fit, they might be different but since the other pump is tethered to the car it's kinda hard to compare.

is the pulley size the same? rib wise? what about the offset? b/c it has to run off the Crank pulley to power it so you better make sure it all lines up properly and stuff otherwise you'd be shredding belts.
