I think my heater core is leaking....

hey guys, everytime i turn my heater on i smell antifreeze BIG TIME...and the passenger side carpet, the part where there feet are. that part is really wet, from antifreeze. i think its the heater core...has anyone replaced one? and arent there just regular water hoses that connect to the core, so maybe just a hose has busted...what do you guys think....i hope i dont have to take m dash out to get to the damn thing..

Well why dont you take out your glove box first there are 2 screws under neith and one damper screw on the side then see what you can do, if you cant fix it then, then let us know and well tell you how to remove yoru dash board LOL its not too much fun i did it recently.

if u smell antifrizer then ur problem its in the engine bay.
check all the hozes. but if u smell antifrizer when u put the heater on. then check the U shape hoze that is on the thermostat. and a hard hoze that is located on the bottom of the thermostat housing. u can barely see this last one. i checked it with my hands if there was aleak or not. for the last one u can buy the seal at honda dealer.

actually alb i just replaced that thick U shaped hose..and there are two other small hoses beside the U shaped one, i replaced those as well. im just about positve there is nothing leaking in the engine bay. i check almost everyday to see whats going on in there. and nothing. you guys havent answered my question, maybe your just overlooking it..but are there like regular water hoses that connect to the heater core? if so i betcha one has a hole...but if not then i dunno. oh yeah and soy, i followed my haynes on how to remove the dash, i did everything it said, but i wouldnt completely come out..i couildnt figure out how to get it over the steering wheel...that was really my only problem..
