    ABS Light...

I don't want to get in trouble for posting a technical question about a car that's a non CB7 so if this is in the wrong spot please delete and accept my apologies. It's a technical question nontheless.

Now, my friend is in the market for a 93 Prelude non-Vtec with 130,000 miles on it. THe only problems are the CV axles and the ABS lights. I'm worried about what the ABS light means (I know anti-lock brakes) technically, like, will the brakes fail or what. Should it even be a concern or is it just a light that decided to stay on one day. At any rate, any replies would be appreciated and again, if this is in the wrong spot or is not allowed please delete. Thanks in advance...

You dont need abs.. Just take out the bulb or tape over it... Theres a sensor on the axles so if there real messed it could be that. But i doubt it.

dont quote me on this or anything... but the abs sensors are in the axels right? I remember reading that somewhere, not sure if it was correct or not. so if the axels are bad, that might be causing the ABS light... just a thaught..

I think I heard about that also but I thought it was just a myth. I figure if I replace the axles the problem might go away and if not then further investigation is required. Thanks a lot you guys...
