    So my original radiator blew!

Ok guys, My original Denso radiator finally went after about 161,000 miles. So I went out and bought a new one today at a shop that specializes in Imports. I paid 150.00 with tax for a Koyo radiator. Now are all the Koyo radiators better then OEM? Because mine doesn't look like this one http://www.modacar.com/products/Honda/Accord/MODARAS/
it's just black and looks like an oem one, so can anyone tell me if the KOYO brand is any good? Thanks in advance.

That one is an aluminum radiator, which is why it's more than twice the price.

You'll be fine with the one you bought.

Thanks SoySauce, I didn't know if they are any better then oem, This one looks like it has a metal top and bottom unlike the oem one on my car that has plastic?

koyo makes great OEM replacement radiators for most imports. but if you're wondering about the polished one, here's a pic of the Koyo race radiator:

That one looks real nice! I would have liked somthing like that but I don't have any of the goodies like a turbo, Nitrous, ect. But do you really think it cools up to 30% more? and do you think it was worth the 300+ dollars? But anyways that one looks real nice.

i would love to have an aluminum radiator, they really do keep it cooler, but those are for "race cars" for our daily driver the stock ones are just fine. BTW i bought my radiator from radiatorbarn.com for like 80 bucks, brand new, lifetime warranty....

yeah but I needed it today! I couldn't wait for one to be shipped to me. Wish me luck guys I'm going to tackle this changing of the radiator tomarrow. It's kinda nice, this is the only big thing I have had to change to my Accord since I bought it in July of 03.

Alright I'm all done, the surgury was a sucess. The hardest part of this process was removing the Tranny lines that connect to the radiator I fought with that about an hour but the rest went well, I give this a 4/10 on the difficulty scale. But all is nice and done.
