The good thing about it is it came w/ poly bushings, so you won't have to press your OEM ones out and press new ones in. The entire anchor swaps over, bushing and all. I'm lowered about 2" all the way around and I'm still barely within OEM specs for camber of 1 degree. Tire wear isn't bad either, I got around 25k on my ZR rated 17s by just rotating normally every 5k miles
He must have the less extreme anchor-bolt camber kit.

Ingalls sells two different ranges, depending on how much you're lowering.

How "weak" is the metal that surrounds the upper ball joint? If you press them out properly and use quality parts (Napa does sell the upper ball joint alone) then what's the issue?
Get the upper control arm in your hands so you can observe it with your own eyes, proceed with your ball-joint replacement. Afterwards, consider doing this multiple times throughout the vehicle's life and concentrate your thoughts on the ball-joint bore within the control arm stamping. You'll understand then.

That is why I'm not a fan of doing that method, atleast multiple times. I would consider doing it one time during the life of one control arm, with proper tooling and technique.

I don't plan on replacing the ball joints that often to be honest. If I'm lowered around 1.2" that shouldn't put too much stress on the suspension components. Besides, if I had to replace them again for some reason (5+ years down the road) I could always get a used set of arms from the junkyard and use those.

I do like the idea of pressing out the old, pressing in the new and then spot welding.
