What does this plug go to?

I will have pics in the morning, but can give details, standing in front of the car looking at it, the headlight on the left has a small grey plug with two wires coming from behind it, wat does this go to? I remember unplugging it from something when I installed my short ram intake, anybody got sum input on it?

ok i did some research and found out that tha plug im referring to goes to the Intake control solenoid valve, now, does anybody know if having this unplugged affects anything?

it just quiets down the intake at certain RPMs. Its useless when you get a Cold air or short ram intake, as you have to cap that nipple off and that vac. line gets eliminated.
