    fail smog check!!!!HELP?

    ok so today i went to do the smog check on my car, and well my car failed, i thought it was going to pass since my car has been running smooth.
    here are the results of the test. can anyone help me, and give me an idea why my car failed?

    you need to clean out your egr ports. later.

      I can't tell you exactly why your car failed, but the EGR valve or ports might be causing your problem. *edit - Type G already got it.

      Did you have your car warmed up when you went for the smog?

        yea my car was warmed up at normal level when it was performed.

            Check out that thread. B3nsonx, the OP, was having problems with way too much NO (his was above 2000 ppm). So hopefully, the things that he did to his car to get it to pass smog will help you out. Good luck.

              thanks im gonna clean the egr valve tomorrow and then im gonna smog it again.

                my numbers were similiar, clean egr ports. quick tip, i used a small drill and a slide hammer to get those old plugs out. the new plugs that honda offers are garbage. just jb weld the hole back up on the plug and re-install them.

                or tap for a pipe plug. that's what i did on my f22a6 manifold.
