if you really want the cheapest way to get higher flow, take off your stock cat, get a big hammer and a big metal rod, beat the stuff on the inside of the cat out to make it hollow, reinstall. booya, test pipe for free

so imn guessing you were actually pushing about 850 hp to the wheels, right? not bad at all, i mean ive definetley seen better in a few other cb7's, but 850hp isnt to shabby..me myself and irene only have about 700 hp going to the wheels...so im pretty slow

You have to be really careful about running an open downpipe. There is a small possiblity that when you shut the car off it will suck in fresh air from the downpipe and burn the valves. I ran with an open downpipe for a day and that shit was loud as hell! Didnt like the way it sounded though too hollow.
