are you asking if the car runs hot or if the heater is hot? the car runs at normal temp about halfway on the temp gauge, and the heater is warm but not hot like it got b4 i put the a6 in. also i notice in ur sig it says delta 272, where did u get ur cam from im lookin into cams for my dohc and was considering delta

Something is clogged. Somebody probably put straight coolant in without mixing it which can cause that problem. If its running normal temp then im sure the heater core is the part thats clogged.
I actually bought the cam from a member here. But if you want one from Delta you have to send them your cams and let them regrind them and they send em back. I would go with Bisimoto though IMO. I lost a good bit of down low grunt which is normal for a hipo cam.

yeah i figured it was water pump or heater core. i was leaning towards water pump tho cause i didnt kno how the motor ran when i got the car it had a 5 speed conv. started so i just pulled the motor and swapped in the dohc and finished the conversion i really dont wanna pull the dash to change the heater core so hopefully i can just flush it. as for bisi cams i'm lookin into those also was gonna go with a level 1.2 just weighing my options. but sending in the cams is no prob since i already got them pulled
