Speed Sensor Question

[1990AccordEX]

Can a 5-speed, speed sensor work in place of auto one?

[FAMOUS T.R.K.]

i think so when i bought mine at autozone they didnt ask me standard or auto

[1990AccordEX]

reason why i asked is that the speedo is reading 5mph slow, compared to my Garmin GPS

What size tires do you have? that may be the culprit.

I believe stock tire size is 185/70/14.

There is a tire calculator online that will tell you how much your speedo will be off with different size tires

I have the stock EX rims with 195/60 R15

before it died the last one was spot on
