all do is mess with the bolt thing on top of the thermostat when the fans come on. u gona need a #12 socket. lol do this when the fans come on. and let it bleed till there is no bubles coming out. just coolant.
that is what i do.
are we there yet are we there yet are we there yet
The air bleed bolt is on the thermostat housing. It looks like a little nipple. The bolt must be opened during the filling process to bleed air out of the system.

thanks for the help also
i learn something new
don't need to remove the radiator. when bleeding the engine coolant, here is what u do:
-car is cold
-key is turned to ignition
-remove radiator cap
-loosen the air bleed bolt; uses a 12mm socket(*don't remove it)
-fill the radiator to the bottom of the filler neck, until the coolant from the bleed bolt starts to run out in a steady stream, no bubbles
dont turn the car on is what he is saying......but when i bleed i turn it on because as soon as the thermostat opens up the coolant level will drop a bit more, therfore you will need to add a bit more coolant....but whatever.
loosen bleed valve bolt on thermostat housing
remove radiator cap
add coolant/water
watch bleed valve (when stream of coolant/water appears tighten bolt for bleed valve.
fill radiator as needed, then put cap back on.
did minutes a while ago and bubbles were coming out of it for like 1 minute
i just put a radiator in not too long ago.. very simple.
take off the splash guard on the bottom of the car.
open valve on bottom of radiator.
There's also a bolt on the back of the engine, to drain the coolent out of there, it's right near the oil filter
Plug it all back up and fill it.
Turn on the car, let it run until the thermostat turns on.
let it run for a few mins after that.
turn off car
fill up so she's full.
make sure the resivour has enough too
