What spark plugs are the best?

i usually always stick with either the factory (denso) plugs or ngk, but i've seen different versions of these plugs such as iridium and platinum. they seem to cost a lot more, but are they really worth it?
also, do they make a K & N drop in air filter that will fit a 92? and does anybody have any experience (good or bad) with these?

thanks in advance for any feedback.

For plugs, the only real advantage of the platinum and iridium plugs is the longevity. But frankly, for the cost of coppers, I would much rather replace those four times than platinums once. However, if you want Iridiums or Plats, lemme know because I get a pretty good price on them.

just go platinum bro its a waste to spend all that money for something thats in the engine that really dont do much , Thats just like changing oil dont go crappy dont go expensive either way you have to keep changing em so it makes no difference to me as long as they are dependable.

            wrong thread??

i use bosch platnum...id rather use NGK...i tried to run others and my car ran like shit...
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

Actually, if you read all of BlackandTan's original post you would have noticed that he asked about K&N filters as well.

I would go w/ the denso iridiums myself. Never used them. Heard great things about them. Heard good things about the bosch too.

As far as the K&N goes, I have a drop in myself. I bought it earlier this year. I really don't notice a whole lot of difference as far as power goes. I feel like it pulls harder but it could just be the old imagination. The main reason I bought it was so that I wouldn't have to buy anymore filters. All I have to do is clean this one. I like it so far. It may have added 1 maybe 2 hp but probably less. Oh well. It is more than I had before. The filter also lets the car breathe a little better. Higher CFMs. As a whole I am happy with the purchase and would buy it again. I really want a cold air but my K&N drop in will do for now.

I can do NGK Iridiums for $8.50 each plus shipping. Denso IRs and NGK plats for $12 each.
