    BB2 Shifter Conversion

Hey there all , well when i was at the junkyard yesterday i just happened to come across a beat up BB2 Lude that still had the shifter inside it so i pulled it for 15 bucks and took some comparison pics side by side with my stock shifter to show the difference. I found some people have already done this, Ronald_TypeR made an awsome BB2 shifter setup. the throw is surprisingly shorter , and smoother ! nice little mod for under 20 bucks. well heres some pics enjoi

Shifter i picked up ,little bit of rust on it but i sanded it off

    Stock shifter coming off

Side by side comparison, stock shifter on the left and BB2 on the right(notice how much further back the stock shifter goes)

Installed (rust on base removed and shifter rod polished and wet sanded)

Tell me what ya think, opinions are welcome and as always thanks to everyone who posts up

actually i didnt need the cable and it shifts just fine the only pieces that i took from the BB2 were the rubber grommet on the right cable , and the little plastic collar on the left one.
