    Clutch wont disengage

ok so i just swapped in the h22 with m2b4 and clutch masters stage 3 clutch and fidanza flywheel with new master/slave cylinders. The car was driving fine at first, but slowly it started getting difficult to put into gear, and it never wanted to shift into gear at high rpms. now the car will not go into any gear, when the car is on. when its off, everything goes in fine except reverse. i checked the fluid, its fine and we bled the system and still the same. any ideas before i take off this tranny?

Difficult to put in gear my vote is for the throwout bearing. Did you by any chance use the same throwout bearing or the throwout bearing that came with the kit instead of gettin one from honda? I think your throwout bearing is gone its probably going to be in need of replacement.

Just pray its not the springs on the clutch if any one of them are broken the clutch will need to be replaced. Thats the only things i can think of btw youll definitely need to pull down the tranmission again to get in there and inspect good luck and keep us posted.

Do you have any freeplay @ the clutch pedal? You need some freeplay or else the system will build up alot of pressure and cause the friction point to jump around. Any hydraulic fluid leaks? Into the cabin from the m/c, slave leaking past the seal into the boot? I also wonder if there's air trapped in the clutch damper, clutch dampers can trap air, def. a prob. w/ Nissans and DSM's.

I just took out my clutch dampener, it's just one more system to fail. You should do the obvious first. Get a friend and with the car off have him depress the clutch pedal all the way. While he's (or she's) doing that you watch the slave cylinder on the transmission. Look for average movement. If your throw out fork isn't moving at all, it's an issue with the hydraulic system. If it's moving perfectly fine, then you need to start taking things apart and find out what went wrong, and why. Hope this helps.

clutch fork is moving fine, no leaks anywhere all the lines etc are dry. and the thowout bearing, we didnt use a honda oem, just the one the clutch came with. but my next step is to just run a new hard line with out the dampner, then i'll get back at you guys.

Did you adjust the clutch? There's that nut on the piston shaft that attaches to the back of the clutch arm that you may need to adjust. Otherwise you may have air in your system. Just some ideas. Good luck.

def check the clutch master cylinder rod. adjust the nut.

you mentioned checking fluids. not to seem like a jerk, but you do have oil or MTF in the tranny right?

I ask cause my tranny drain plug fell off one day, and seemed like same issues. check these problems first.
If you have more issues. then well throwout bearing most likely the culprit.
