    Cutting bump stops

Good day everyone. Finally received my Nuespeed sport springs and Koni STR.T struts. After reading the directions that came with the springs, they say to NOT cut the bump stops. HOWEVER, after reading and researching, people seem to think the car rides worse w/ the stock bump stops, but after trimming them a bit, the ride improved.

Should I cut or leave them alone?

    Thanks,
    Cris P.

What springs and struts are you running? It makes sense to cut them, but I also don't want to blow out my struts in case I happen to hit a huge hole or something.

dont cut the bumpstops. i had neuspeed race on koni yellows with cut bumpstops before and it was weird. when i read the instructions again it said not to cut the bumpstops because the neuspeed springs was designed to be used with unaltered bumpstops. i got brand new bumpstops from honda and put them on. my cb handled much better after the install. and on the koni yellows i was on the lowest perch.

Good call. I e-mailed Neuspeed with my specs and strut combo, and they said to NOT cut them no matter the strut I picked.
