F22A / F22B Distributor, Interchangeable?

I've found WAY too much conflicting information across the net to actually get a straight answer, so i'm asking you guys

All i want is a Rotor Button for my Distributor on a F22A
Will the F22B Rotor Button fit? Is there another alternative?

yes it will fit, i used a f22a rotor on my f22b and worked fine. I do know that the f22b/h23a1 rotors have screws. the f22a rotor just snaps on.

So, you're saying an F22A Rotor will fit an F22B
But because of the clip/screw thing.. Will an F22B Rotor fit an F22A?

yeah if the f22b rotor has a screw then it should work but if it clips on you are good either way.

But will the F22A spline have provisions for this screw? Where does the screw go?
Either way it's orderd now.. For the sake of a few $ i'll make it work haha

now are you talking about dohc f22b or sohc f22b2 that plays a factor. the dizzy has a hole in the end where the flat piece of the rotor meets the distributor.
