    Weight of CB7

I have been looking around the net to try and find the approximate weight of a CB7 motor with an F22 engine in it. I wondered if anyone could shed some light on the subject for me. My car is a 1990 2.2i 4WS Accord.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you

Well... You're not from around here, are you? Don't be going around bragging about your 165HP 4WS Accord... We (here in the US) didn't get any 165HP F22 engines... Nor did we get 4WS in anything but the Preludes... You are one lucky guy, my friend... A lucky man indeed!

        Thanks for the weight info.

Also taken alot of mods to get the 165.5 out of the car (now even more with new exhaust but not been tested) But its just not fast enough, have to opt for the H22 soon!

It actually wasn't needed here in the US. In Japan and many European countries things like 4WS are a life saver when tring to park and get threw tight spaces.

I personally would love to have one. It's a great system.

It's not that they where problematic it's that when a problem did occur allot of technicains didn't know how to properly remedy the problem so rigging things came into play, etc., and etc. The system does work though and even has it's own seperate diagnostic functions to help you pin point the problem.

You also have to remember the only 4th gen lude to have the system in the US was the 1992. Most of those operated well beyond 5 years without even a hint of trouble. I think that's awesome considering the way Americans treat their cars and the lack of maintance they recieve. Not to mention that allot of techs never even knew how to maintance it. As well as how many assholes destroyed the system tring to lower there 4WS ludes.

Well there are 2 types of 4WS. The mechanical and the Electronic one. Mechanical seems to have no problems (well i have not yet) but i know some people with the Electronic one, and it costs them about $600 to get fixed when it goes wrong. usually some sensor, but people can live without 4WS on the Electronic one by removing the fuse for it, so if they aint got the cash they can save up. Us Mechanical lot, if we do get a problem we pretty fooked!
