I've got a 92 CB9 getting ready to roll 190k. I changed out the fuel filter last week just as a maint. item and ever since then I'm throwing a Code 43. It's a code for fuel delivery system/O2 sensor and it's driving me crazy. I changed the filter per instructions in my Haynes manual and the only issue I noticed is that while trying to loosen the banjo bolt I made a slight kink in the supply line coming to the filter from the tank. I don't think it's enough to cause problems but if it's affecting pressure enough to cause a code I can try to press the line back into shape. I don't want to buy a new O2 sensor if I don't have to....I know it could probably use one I just don't have the money at the moment. Any ideas anyone?

try the line if its not that hard. or go get an o2 sensor and try it and if it doesn't fix it, return it. but be sure to reset ur ecu before you pull codesOriginally posted by slowagon View PostI've got a 92 CB9 getting ready to roll 190k. i wouldn't reset the ecu only because the code may not be there when you reset it thus making a problem that you are just ignoring and code possibly cause problems down the road. if you pull codes as i it is now then at least they will give you some direction on where to go instead of just throwing parts at it.

yup also check fuel pressure and resistance in o2 if you get a new o2 get a denso or ngk also check the wiring at the o2 i had that code ended up being a high reistance in the wiring so it was sending the ecu an incorrect reading the o2 sensor is a pretty sensitive deviceOriginally posted by wed3k View Posttest o2 signal voltage first.
