how do i block off my egr cuz i got a skunk2 intake mani from a friend nd he doesn't have the block off plate so i just have a vacuum line running to it and i have it connected....will this cause me any problems?

It sounds like everything is hooked up right. Maybe you should post a picture of what you're asking about?

you do know that the block off plate is meant to go on the intake manifold, not the egr, right? So if you dont have a place for the egr on you skunk2 manifold you don't need to worry about it.
