okay so long story short i was comeing home from work and i get off the freeway and my car sounds like a go-kart or a tractor its a putting and then die idles super low
cant drive
help asap need to have it runing for work to night ant too pic up the girl from work in 2 hours haha
whats some simple checks and hope a easy fix

Well given the plethora of information you've given us, we can tell you exactly what the problem is...

First thing, does it have gas in it?
Second, when you turn the key, what does the car do? Does it crank super slow? Does it crank super fast? Do flames shoot out somewhere under the hood?

If you can at least tell us those two things we're off to a start on a diagnosis

there are not flames it turns over about 3 times and idles supper ruff then dies after a min

This is not the noob forum anymore... Learn how to title your threads...


Sounds like the timing may of jumped... Pull the cover and check for slack in the belt... Put the engine at tdc and check timing at the crank pulley or inspection hole.

Well if its smoking at idle the usual culprit is valves...Like stated check your timing belt for slack and your timing belt could have strectched which will lead to jumping timing and bent valves.
