    Radiator fan problem?

Yesterday I changed out the radiator and buttoned everything back up. I made extra sure I hooked both fan harnesses back up too. I filled and bled the system and let the motor run to check for leaks and noticed the condenser fan kicked on but the radiator cooling fan never kicked on. Any ideas why it didn't kick on

I did check to see if the fan works with jumper wires and the battery and it did. Checked fuses and relays and saw no problems there either. Luckily it isn't overheating but I am still worried and like for things to work like they are supposed to.

No. I didn't think to check. Funny thing is that the ac fan is working when the ac is on and when I don't use the ac it comes on when the motor reaches the tempature for the other fan to kick on. Maybe a backup in case the other fan fails?

the fan timer relay controls both fans
i dont know if this would help but try replacing it

i have had fan problems ever since i got my car on the road, i have a loose wire some were that causes the fans to come on when ever it wants even if the block is stone cold

but i had my car on one day and both fans were running and i dont use my A/C because its broke but yet both fans were running so my relay could be bad as well or they could be intended to do that, just thought i'd say your not completely alone

          try replacing the timer relay

or you could have a short in your wiring

I will do that. I do know that the radiator fan was kicking on after driving but only in hot conditions.

if everything is working right, both fans will cycle on and off if just the condenser fan is cycling , and the main fan is not coming on you might have a bad fan relay ,. also check all your grounds.....
