im wondering if on the stock f22 tranny can u adjust the clutch because my clutch engages like a inch before i can take my foot of the pedal. is in adjustment needed or a new clutch?

You can adjust the clutch pedal to engage higher or lower by adjusting the clutch pedal linkage. The mechanism you adjust is under the dash, right where the clutch pedal arm pushes the plunger through the firewall into the clutch master cylinder.
The locknut in the picture is where the adjustment is made, once you look at it under the dash it becomes apparent what must be done.Last edited by scudweiser; 10-12-2010, 10:05 PM.
