yea mine too, i replaced the fuel filter, changed oil and filter every 2500-3k, PCV valve, checked timing (ok), replaced plugs, wires are okay, battery is okay, maybe it is the EGR port/valve? but my car doesnt even run that bad...
    sigh.

300 to a tank, eh? Yeah thats about 17 mpg, and even for city driving thats pretty low. It just all depends how you drive, and how well your car is maintained. I usually get about 25 city, and 32 hwy, but my car is tuned perfectly with all OEM parts and I am very meticulous on maintenace. I also don't drive it hard at all (thats what I have the Z28 for ) Taking all that into cosideration you can probably answer your own question. I would say give it a good tune-up (see the maint schedule I posted) and starting at your next tank of fuel, drive conservitively and see what you get.

check your tire pressure too it can fuck up your mileage pretty bad. also alignment can destroy gas mileage. try that

low air in tires, dirty air filter, bad pcv valve, oxygen sensor, are likely culprits

where you been, is something wrong?

i heard driving one mile a day, really kills the mileage becuz of the oil not properly circulating? true?

all i might need to check is egr ports/valve and the o2 sensor but it drives fine...

Also harder on the life of the engine because it doesn't get a chance to lubricate fully/properly.
