    Iacv H22a Help

So... I just took off my IACV (Idle Air Control Valve) for my H22A. I cleaned it and let it dry after 20 min. or so and then put it back on. Started the car and the idle shot up to 1k rpm and then it cut out out as fast as it started. Could this be because the iACV is still wet or something else?

Assuming your idle was not doing anything funky before you cleaned the IACV, then all i can think of is that the electrical connector is not in all of the way, and that your base idle was set too low to account for a vacuum leak or something. Did it throw a CEL when it cut out?

Brake cleaner. I actually got this fixed, I just took the IAC valve off and left it off for an hour (Brake cleaner was a bit older then most new brake cleaner so it doesnt dry instantly...) and then I put it back on and car started beautifully

Idle was wacky before and no CEL.

Car is fine now? I would still suggest checking your base idle setting just in case that added to your previous idle issue.
