I don't know if it was ever discussed here but I would like to know how to reroute my hood cable to go inside the engine bay from would-be thieves. How hard is this?

Not very at all, just cut the cable a bit, and route it elsewhere. (typical place is somewhere under the front bumper) but you can always get creative.
Ninja Edit: Make sure to take pics and do a detailed write up so all the incoming newbs can know how to do it, so the mods can get somewhat of a break...lol
