I think you need to drill out the old bolts that hold in the cylinder. They have heads that snap off when you install them (so yes you'll need new bolts; dealer parts).

This is what I remember from the manual so I may be mistaken.

u need mmmm the very very very small screw drivers. the 6 spoke star screwdriver i think. there is a bolt that is very small. other than that only screw drivers flat and start ones.

Noooo, you don't have to remove the wheel, you'll have plenty of room with it on. Also, you don't drill out the old break-away bolts, unless you just feel like doing it the hard way. Just use a small chisel and a hammer to turn the bolts, you should only have to tap them once or twice and then you'll be able to unscrew them the rest of the way out by hand.

Trust me dude, you don't need a drill. There was an ignition switch recall and I've done hundreds and hundreds of these damn things. Like I said, a hammer and a small chisel. As far as the bolts, you gotta go to the dealer for them.

Well I guess the New Solution is DRILLING THE OLD IGNITION OUT.. A lock smith came and drilled that shit out didnt take nothing off he just drilled the fuck out the old ignition and it fell out. Problem solved
