Car wont start.. Lil Help please

Whats up.. I gotta 91 lx. One day I went out to start my car and it wouldnt turn over. When I turn the key all the lights come on, my air compressor for my air ride turn on(going to fuse box), when I turn it to the starting postion all the lights go off, I hear the fuel pump come on and when I let off the key the lights come back on and so does my compressor. There dosent seem to be any sound coming from the starter so im thinking it might be the starter?? an ideas let me know.. late

battery fuse? it would still operate all the things u mentioned but it wouldnt start the car if it blew.

Where is the bat fuse?? I know its not the battery cause I have replaced that too..

its in the normal fuse box under the hood. its clear on top and black on the bottom, one of the biggest ones in there too. its screwed in with gold screws i think.

just for giggles, try tapping(hitting) the starter with a hammer .......if that solves it, the drive is sticking and it needs to be replaced

That was one of the first things I tried.. forgot to mention that.. I am fearin that my motor is seized up and the starter cant turn it over.. This was just brought to my attention by a friend tonight.. any other ideas.. help a fellow accord owner out..

prolly the starter.. same thing happened to me.

is it a stick? Try push starting it. Also, if its manual, could be the clutch switch. Have you noticed a blueish type crayon shredded plastic stuff on the carpet under the dash?

yea i forgot to say that, try to pop start it, and have u checked all ur spark plugs and plug wires? distributer? coil?

thats sounds like the same problem i had, i had to open the hood and move the battery terminals around then it would start. It's really annoying but the car would act fine accessory lights and all, then when i tried to crank it nothing. The problem was corrosion even though the top of batt didn't look like it had any there. I just replaced the terminals and bought some of those anti-corrosion sponge looking things. Hope that helps
