    starting problem

well the car is a 97 acura tl (g25)
    the car does not start
    no spark

went by the book and measured:
    coil
    module
    crk, cyl, tdc sensors
    replaced ecu
    nothing

get this, i was hooking up the can-2 obd2 scanner and when switching the key to "ON" position i cranked the engine and the bitch started, left it on, go up to temp, fans came on, a/c worked etc everything worked.
turned it off, then back on and it did again (success was reached happy face on)
happy removed the scanner, went to start it again and nothing (faaaaakkk)

in conclusion, the car will not start unless i connect the scanner, and if it the scanner wouldnt have cost me $400 i would have left it in the car

sound like to me that its by -passing something in the E.C.U. and causing it to run . has it put out any codes ? that's the only thing i got .

A man that keeps looking back can't see whats in front of him.
