    Urgent Help Needed

Hey everyone, I changed my stock throttle body to an overbored that I recently bought. I took the TB sensor out, put it on the new one, connected everything back up just how it was before.

Now my check engine light is on and its idleing at about 3k. Whats the deal do I need to reset my ECU or mess with the idle

    Someone help please, thanks.

sounds like the TPS isn't aligned correctly.

exactly... just loosen the screws holding the tps in place and turn it until your idle gets where it needs to be..

just so i make sure i get this right, the TBS (the black peice on the back) i would basically just be rotating it slightly while the car is running? or while its off the car?

i would do it while its running.. its not gonna damage anything, its just gonna adjust your idle.. plus you can see for yourself instantly if you are going the right way and how its effecting the idle..

couldnt solve my problem. i took the car down to the my local ricer shop. he said the throttle body i got was kinda chinsey. that kinda sucks because i bought it for 125 bones. but as far as i can tell, they should be able to take care of it, the question is for how much....that sucks

its just a stock over bored, i guess it was done "professionally" i use that term loosely since it was missing some necessary pieces
