i bought a cd with info on cb7's from ebay its basically the manual from online..but the engine specs is what i find cool.. it has f20a specs. so i looked and found that valve spring free length exhaust ( the intake number match to) for f20a4 and f22a2 and f22a3 match exactly. so im wondering if this is proof that f22 internals are indeed interchangable with the f22a.
also the camshafts appear to interchangable.. according to the manual..
cam lobe height for the intake f20a4 is 38.741 which is the same for the f22a2 and a3 automatic tranny. the ehaust lobe specs for the f20a4 is 38.972 which again matches the f22a2 and f22a3 automatic tranny
well hope this is useful to some peeps who are looking to build internals up
